About our day care centre & social club

Since 2018, Active Minds Day Centre & Social Club has offered more than just care—we provide a sense of belonging. Through engaging activities, warm companionship, and expert carer support, we bridge the gap between dementia and community. Every day, we focus on what our members can do—not what they can’t.

Day Centre Support

A safe, welcoming space offering structured activities, personal care, and meals — all in a home-like setting that encourages connection and comfort.

Culturally Inclusive Activities

We honour each member’s cultural background through familiar music, food, stories, and traditions that foster pride and belonging.

Carer Respite & Support

Carers get a much-needed break while their loved ones are cared for with compassion. We also offer resources and emotional support for carers.

Community Outreach

We connect members with the wider community through local partnerships, intergenerational projects, and events that reduce stigma and promote inclusion.
